The Janome 500e allows you to pick whichever letters you require to make a monogram, name etc. Simply tap the desired letters and the machine will combine them. You can even choose the size of your font and whether you want the letters Uppercase or Lowercase.

To select an Embroidery Design simply press the Icon of the design you want!
