Vintage Bear Wood Block Wood Block Carving Bear in Suit & Tie Swiss Switzerland

Description

This very handsome bear wearing a navy blue suit, white shirt, red tie, and black shoes/boots is hand carved from one heavy, single block of wood.  He has a very nicely done, expressive face and eyes.  The shading around the muzzle/mouth is nicely done.  This vintage item is in very good condition, but has a few dings consistent with age. There is a slight scratch on his left cheek, a little wear on the back of the jacket, and what may be a scuff at the top of each ear, etc.  Please see the very-close-up photos as disclosure.  The item, assumed vintage,  is initialed "K" in red on the bottom.  He stands about 7 inches high and is about 5 1/2 inches wide and about 5 1/4 inches deep.  He weighs just under 1 pound 9 ounces by my postal scale.
